Thank you for your interest in the 2024-2025 Del Norte High School Cheerleading Program.

Here are the details for the Pre-tryout cheer clinics and Tryouts for the DNHS Nighthawks Cheerleading program for the 2024-2025 season:

• Students in grades 8 through 11 are eligible upon completion of the following tasks/requirement. All potential candidates are required to complete the following tasks prior to tryouts.

• Pre-tryout cheer clinics will be held 5/1, 5/6, 5/8, 5/13, 5/15, 5/20 from 4:30-6:30 at DNHS. These clinics will focus on motion technique, fight song, jump technique and tumbling (we will not be teaching any gymnastics skills). *Not required but highly recommended.

• Tryout Clinics will be held 5/21, 5/22, 5/23 (4:30pm-7:30pm) with Final Auditions on Friday, 5/24 (4:30pm-8pm). Teams will be announced no later than Saturday, May 25th.

• Monday, May 27th – 4:00-5:30: First Team Meeting / 6pm: Mandatory
